Dear puss didn’t get his dental as he had once again lost weight, so bloods done which showed hyperthyroidism, not unusual in an older puss, so of home to stabilise with medication, fortunately liquid, he doesn’t mind. Hopefully he will get some weight on.
Mostly maintenance in the garden, it was a very warm weekend, so was seeking shade as much as possible. Lawn mowing, weeding, dead heading, it was too hot to plant. Much cooler today and we had a little rain overnight.
Have a marvellous Monday.

The bluebells are looking fabulous this year, it’s taken 4 years since planting to see results.
The weather has been blustery and lots of showers, some enough to go into the tanks, some good soil wetting. But then come to wind,
Back to the vet today for a dental for Charlie puss, taking good care of his teeth is important at his age of almost 19.
Have a lovely day.

Some of these pretty everlasting daisies went off to their new homes over the last few days. All pink at the back of this bed. Almost all natives, billy buttons in the grow cage, small different species of everlasting daisies at the fron, some local native grasses, a few ground covers, daisies again. It will be a fine display once in flower.
Have a beautiful day.

I have ventured onto market place to sell these pretties, they bring so much to any garden, particularly in this warming weather, make lovely cut flowers as well.
The weather isn’t great for the garden today, Lots of wind and showers, no doubt snow somewhere. But I have to venture out to do more potting up or make more paper pots for selling, helps keep plastic waste down a little.
We all need to do what we can.
Stay warm and dry and have an enjoyable day.🌸

I’m back, it’s been a busy winter, dry, but just enough rain for tanks.
Why the pot? Ordered weeks ago and they have finally come, so a busy day potting up seedlings of everlasting daisies.
Gardening has taken over, my mojo for jewellery has gone into hiding, so will try selling my seedlings through market place, if that doesn’t work, then a local market.
As those who do them it’s very tiring, hopefully I won’t need to go there.
They boys are all as well as can be. Charlie is set for another dental, but keeping him well at almost 19, in a few weeks, it’s important to look after him extra well.
Have a lovely day.

No post yesterday as I had Gran care 🥰 such precious little ones, it doesn’t happen often, but dad was away for work, we had a lovely day, spending a lot of it outside. Unfortunately by the time mum got home, her runny nose had turned into, well you know and her temperature had shot up, she slept for an hour snuggling on me🥰 but once mum was back, Ishe waved me goodbye, cheeky mite.
The boys were glad to get outside on my return and Robbie seems to have coped with some one else coming into to medicate them both earlier. Of course Gilbert gets himself upset and unwell, although he doesn’t display outward anxiety, his tummy shows the affects. A quiet day for everyone today at home.
I will be back tending the garden, getting ready for Autumn planting. What are you up to today?
Have a beautiful day 🐾🐾 G & Co.

The summer garden has almost finished, I have been seed collecting ready for next year’s sowing, planting seed in readiness for planting in the coming months as well. Running out of room for my seed punnets in my little shade house.
One beautiful rose is making another showing, the hot dry weather has been hard on them, we did get a few ml over the weekend, not much, but it all helps.
Cold west sneaking in with 6o this morning, I’m not ready for that, even snow flurries predicted on the west coast, brr.
Now time to begin potting on some indoor/undercover plants, first up will be my Lady Fingers banana plant. It’s sending roots out of the pot. Might need help next year with this one.
Have a fabulous day 🐾🐾 G & Co.

A thing of beauty. One of the larger sunflowers in my garden.
It’s been a busy time, family home, always nice to see the little ones as they grow so fast.
It’s very dry here, very little rain in the last few months, my tanks are the lowest levels in a long time. But need to water the garden and I watch what I use in the house. Fires in the National parks from dry lightning 😢 no one in danger.
The furries didn’t like the higher temperatures last week, 34 here for a couple of days, we all hid indoors for the worst of it, but can’t keep a good dog in for long😊
Plenty of tomatoes ripening and a lovely crop of pumpkins getting bigger daily.
Have a beautiful day 🐾🐾 G & Co.

Business as usual down here in the south, very dry and in need of rain, but everything is growing beautifully, seed collecting for next year’s planting. I found these lovely pollinators early one morning. Lady bug sleeping and grasshoppers!!! Well!! these two have had a great time nibbling the pollen on this plant since flowering and the butterflies have been visiting constantly.
Robbie allowed me to clip him recently, but he felt the cooler days for a bit. Gilbert has been enjoying his freedom once again with the extra internal fence, he is able to sleep on the grass and just be a dog away from harm. Now just to grow the hedging plants.
Have a fabulous day 🐾🐾🐾 G & Co

Happy new year and all that 😊
The fluff monster is no more, although I was very sad to cut his beautiful mane, sedated nail clip today, he let me clip him and behaved beautifully, but not keen on feet and legs being done. So I don’t want to break the trust and force anything.
Lots happened in the garden, the dirt pile is complete and planting has begun.
The patch is growing madly, tomatoes looking great, a nice pumpkin crop on the way, but put out so much has quickly gone to seed due to the hot cold days, but still plenty to eat.
Have a beautiful day 🐾🐾 G & Co.
