Wearing the Sage & Blush today 🌿🌸

I wanted to share what these look like in real life — not styled on a mannequin, not perfectly arranged — just worn, moved, lived in.

This colour scheme has been my favourite because it’s soft without being too sweet, and seems to work with way more outfits than I expected. I’ve worn it with neutrals, denim, white, and even deeper colours and it still feels calm and wearable 🤍

Like all Bloom & Hold pieces, this one is designed to sit long, feel balanced, and be interesting to touch — for little hands and grown-up ones. Some beads are fixed, some move, some are knotted, and there’s space for fingers to explore without it feeling bulky or busy.

I honestly find myself playing with mine just as much as my bub does — especially during feeds or when I’m feeling a bit touched-out or overstimulated. It’s grounding in a quiet, unexpected way. The hexagonal beads are my favourite to squish 🩷

Limited pieces available right now, and I’d love to know — which colour pallet are you drawn to? 🤍

Add feeding to sleep to this and it’s even more pressure 🫠 but so worth it when they’re so adorable 🥰

The weight of knowing if you don’t show up, your baby can’t eat.

There is something heavy about being the only one who can feed your baby.
Not because you don’t love it.
Not because you aren’t grateful.
But because the responsibility lives in your body.

If you don’t wake up, your baby doesn’t eat.
If you don’t push through the exhaustion, your baby doesn’t eat.
If you don’t show up emotionally, physically, mentally, your baby doesn’t eat.

That is a weight most people never feel.

It means there is no true break.
No off switch.
No moment where your body is not on call.

Even when help is offered, even when a partner is present, even when you are surrounded by love, the responsibility still belongs to you. Because biology does not pause when you are tired.

Some feeds feel magical.
Others feel heavy.
And both are allowed to exist in the same body, on the same day.

You can adore your baby and still feel overwhelmed by the pressure of being their source of nourishment. You can feel pride in what your body can do and still long for five uninterrupted minutes where no one needs anything from you.

That does not make you weak.
That does not make you selfish.
That makes you human.

And if no one has told you this yet, you are carrying more than most people realize. You are doing something constant, invisible, and essential.

If you felt this in your chest, you are not alone. 🤍🤱

Pricing is always about more than materials, so I wanted to share a little about the features of each Bloom & Hold piece. 🤍

Each necklace is slow-made by hand using food-grade silicone beads sourced from an Australian supplier — chosen deliberately over cheaper alternatives so I feel confident they’re safe for little mouths and hands. Every piece is individually threaded, knotted, adjusted, and tested so it sits comfortably, feels balanced, and is genuinely enjoyable to touch and use. 🫶

The designs intentionally include a mix of fixed beads, knotted sections, and beads that can move and slide — which takes time to plan and assemble, but makes them far more engaging for busy hands. Each necklace also includes a breakaway safety clasp, and a removable teether, and is designed to look complete both with and without the teether. ✨

And honestly? They’re not just for babies. I think many mums will find themselves reaching for these just as much — especially during long feeds, contact naps, or moments of sensory overload. Having something familiar and grounding to touch can be surprisingly calming when you’re feeling touched-out or overstimulated. I play with these just as much as my bub. 🤍

They’re dishwasher safe (aside from any wooden teethers), durable enough for everyday use, and made in very small batches around mum life — usually late at night when the house is quiet. 🌙

Bloom & Hold necklaces are priced at $45. They aren’t mass-produced — they’re thoughtfully designed, carefully made, and created to be used, held, and loved. 🤍

The current Bloom & Hold pieces 🤍

Right now, there’s a very small batch available across three wearable, timeless colour palettes:

• Warm Neutrals
• Sage & Blush
• Blue Greys

Each necklace is slow-made using food-grade silicone beads from an Australian supplier, with removable teethers and a mix of fixed and moving beads for tactile interest. They’re designed to look complete both with and without the teether, and to be practical for everyday wear.

This is all I’ll be making for now, and once these are gone there likely won’t be more until next year. I’m sharing to see what resonates, and to guide what I make next 🤍

If you’d like more details, would like to purchase one of these beauties, or have questions, feel free to send me a message.

This started because I missed wearing jewellery 🤍

And because while feeding, my baby needed something to hold, pinch, and explore — and my poor arm was copping it. And also to give him something other than the tiny hairs at the back of my head to grab onto. And also because he’s constantly gnawing at things. It had to serve multiple purposes.

I couldn’t find anything that felt quite right. Most teething necklaces I saw were either bulky and clunky, or too sparse to actually keep little hands interested. So I decided to make my own.

Bloom & Hold pieces are designed to be worn and used — balanced, tactile, and practical. They’re helpful for teething, but also for the in-between moments: feeding, cuddles, contact naps, grounding in overwhelming situations, and any time busy hands need something safe to reach for.

They’ve quickly become part of our everyday routine, and I’m excited to share them.

✨ Bloom & Hold ✨

Thoughtfully designed sensory pieces for busy hands.

Bloom & Hold began because I missed wearing jewellery — and because my baby needed something to hold, explore, and pinch (other than my arm… or the little hairs at the back of my neck 😅). They’ve also been incredibly handy for teething 🦷

Each piece is slow-made using food-grade silicone beads from an Australian supplier, designed to be worn, touched, and used. They’re balanced, tactile, and practical, with removable teethers 🤍 and made to look beautiful both with and without them.

At the moment, there’s a very small batch available ✨ I’ve made as many as I realistically can around mum life, and once these are gone there likely won’t be more until next year. I’m sharing them here to see what resonates, and to help guide what I make next.

More coming soon 🤍
