FAKE $50 NOTES.... OR ARE THEY?
Recently it has come to my attention that there is a lot of people (police included) that are of the belief that if a note doesnt have the name under the portrait then it must be fake.
Well thats NOT TRUE.
In fact, when the polymer (plastic) notes were first released none of them had the name under the portrait. It wasnt until years later, that the Reserve Bank, decided to add names to the faces. They did this so the public would have an easier time identifying the australians depicted on each note.
So anyway, if you come across a note that doesnt have the name under the portrait it does not necessarily mean it is a fake 💰💰💰 -------------- YEARS THE SIGNATURES APPEAR ON NOTES! $5 notes 2002+
