Ich arbeite grundsätzlich intuitiv, das heißt, ich folge meinem inneren Gefühl für Ästhetik. Manchmal bringt mich ein Gedanke oder ein bestimmtes Thema auf eine Idee, die dann zu Schmuck wird. Manchmal ist es aber auch ein interessantes Material oder Fundstück, das mich inspiriert etwas neues daraus zu machen. Ich liebe antike Gegenstände, da sie oft eine gewisse mystische Aura ausstrahlen. Alltag

sgegenstände wurden früher noch mit größter Sorgfalt hergestellt, die ich heute oft vermisse. Gerne bin ich auf Flohmärkten unterwegs, um kleine Kuriositäten zu finden. Es macht Spaß, diese Gegenstände als "Objekte" zu betrachten, sie in einen neuen Zusammenhang zu bringen und so neue - oft sehr persönliche- Stücke entstehen zu lassen. Diese Schmuckstücke hängen dann meistens mit meinen Gefühlen zusammen, deshalb fällt es mir auch später schwer, mich von ihnen zu trennen. Aus diesem Grund ist auch meine Diplomarbeit in meinem Besitz verblieben und unverkäuflich. Sie dient mir aber nach wie vor als Inspirationsquelle für meine neuen Arbeiten - so geht die gesamte "Daisy&Co" - Kollektion auf die Sakurabrosche meiner Diplomarbeit zurück. Die Blüten säge ich einzeln und per Hand aus Kupferblech, schmiede sie in Form, löte die Staubgefäße ein und emailiere sie dann unter der Flamme. So entsteht eine Schmuckserie, aber jedes Stück ist individuell. Für "Nanas China"- also "Omis Porzellan", verwende ich alte Teller mit schönen Motiven, die ich zersäge und Formen daraus schleife. In geschwärztem Silber gefaßt werden daraus Ringe, Anhänger und Ohrschmuck. Jedes Stück ist ein Unikat - deshalb sind auch die auf der Homepage gezeigten Stücke nur Beispiele. Gerne mache ich auch Ihren zerbrochenen Lieblingsteller zu Schmuck! Sie finden weiters einen kleinen Überblick an Auftragsarbeiten, die ich ausführen durfte, sowie eine Auswahl meiner Diplomarbeitsstücke. Sowohl neu - als auch Umarbeitungen von alten Schmuckstücken können eine große Herausforderung sein. Preisanfragen zu hier gezeigten Stücken oder Angebote für Auftragsarbeiten nehme ich gerne per E-Mail oder auch telefonisch entgegen.

Victorian relics, cast through sand, transformed to be wearable pieces of art. Each piece bears the memory of its making - the imprint of imperfection, the grain of time. Oxidised silver and accents of gold and gemstones meet in quiet dialogue: the spiritual and the material, touch and transaction, myth and market. Hands… meaning friendship, protection, trust… and can be worn as a talisman.

These hands are individually sandcast in silver and adorned with tiny golden jewelry and tiny gemstones. In times where gold is almost invaluable, I find it quite appropriate to scale down the jewelry for my little hands…

Making of… a matching ring for the heart pendant! This one was quite a challenge, but I enjoyed the process and the result very much.
This ring is open in the middle between the gemstone settings, so the size can be adjusted easily.
18K gold and various gemstones including diamonds, peridot, citrine and garnet.

Finally this project is finished and I am able to share the final results. This heavy silver bracelet was quite a challenge starting from the design process to the details and creative work.
It will be a gift for a „silver wedding“ anniversary, which means the 25 year anniversary. The client wanted to combine the first letters of their kids „D“ and „L“, their hobbies archery, karate and yoga, her favorite flowers cut from porcelain, canada and the family logo combined in a „wonder woman“ like silver bracelet, heavy but delicate, woven together by a spider‘s web.
I loved this project from start to finish and hope it will be worn with joy and pride.
